​​Phantasmagoria is a series of experiments with film stills from a digitized super 8 film, morphing it further using analog processes such as splicing, superimposing techniques and dip dying along with digital editing. Oneiric, unsettling and numinous, phantasmagoria is a nod to the specter of media itself. Dousing the black and white stills with profusions of color created new liminalities with lurid textures at the thresholds between permeable worlds. The subject is collaborator Hina Javed.
